Candidates interested in a senior economic consultant position should have an advanced degree in economics and at least five years of experience in consulting, academia or the public sector, preferably in applied economic policy, applied microeconomics, regulatory and competition economics. Industry specialists with exceptional economic skills, in particular from the financial, environmental, education and labour market sectors are also encouraged to apply.

Candidates for a junior economic consultant position should have an excellent academic record with a strong emphasis on microeconomics, industrial organisation, regulatory and competition economics and econometrics and some experience with a standard statistical analysis package such as Stata.

Excellent drafting skills are a prerequisite and fluency in several EU languages is a definite asset.
